Here are the links to the companies that I have purchased material/parts from.  I should state that I have become accustomed to using the Internet for research and gathering other useful information.  I do this basically because it saves time.  However, this brings up a personality quirk of mine; If you have a website, then you should be prompt about replying to email.

Throughout my site, I've been trying to list the companies that I purchased parts from when writing that chapter.  So, on this page, I will include my "master" list of links and will try to include some comments about dealing with them.

Research
Chevrolet Truck Service Organized by year, Great photos, and good links.  If you only have one site bookmarked for Task Force trucks, this should be it!
Chevy Talk Excellent forum for the Chevy restorer.  There is a lot of good info here and I have had prompt replies when posting questions.
Auto Color Library They have the color charts for all years.

Projects
1957 Chevy 3100 PU Excellent site
1955 Chevy 1st Series The truck's name is Billy Bob and the owner is indeed a shade-tree mechanic.  Very informative.
1956 Chevy Panel Delivery This is a good one.  The owner is funny and I like his style.
1959 Chevy Apache Long-Bed Jim Karras has had his truck for 27 years and decided to fix
her up.  He is trying to stay stock (and doing a good job).

Part List Pricing - View Online

Download the spreadsheet here by right-clicking and selecting "Save Target As" from the pop-up menu.

This is a spreadsheet that I created to compare pricing (and who has what) for easy reference.  This was very time consuming, but overall I think it was worth the trouble.

Note: The prices were pulled from hard-copy catalogs.  I recommend that you verify current prices and always check all suppliers to see if they are having a "sale" on the item you are interested in.
