It has been a long time since I have posted anything so I wanted to make sure that you didn't think I had abandoned the Rusty project. However, several things have happened that have delayed the progress until the spring.

The Bleeker family found a new home on 5 acres! Unfortunately, we weren't really prepared and still had some minor things to do like sell our existing home. To make a long story short - we sold our house in about a week, but the deal ended up falling through. Luckily we had signed a 60 day option on the new house, but didn't get a new contract on the old house until near the end of the option period. We were able to extend the option period and eventually all deals closed. We closed on the new house on November 4th and spent the weekend moving in.

Currently Rusty is housed in the barn (the previous owners had a horse named Rusty) and there is plenty of room to work around, but it smells like shit - literally. Anyways, there she will stay until I get to start working on her again which I believe will be Spring after we replenish the savings account. I also have plans to build a new garage/workshop in the neighborhood of 40'x60' with 3 big bay doors, but I anticipate that Rusty will be done before then.

While we wait for my wallet to heal, enjoy some pictures of Rusty being moved down to the new spread. A huge thanks to Joe for bringing his trailer over and hauling her down. As you can see from the pictures, I tried to get as much stuff out of my garage as I could - aka Sanford & Son meets the Beverly Hillbillies...

On to the next Chapter
